What Exactly Is This?

Geoguessr Free is a geographical discovery game that drops you somewhere on Earth using Google Street View. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and not rage-quit after landing in the middle of a desert), is to figure out where you are.

You can look around, zoom in on suspicious-looking license plates, translate blurry shop signs, and judge the local architecture. Once you’ve gathered your "clues," you pin your location on a world map. The closer you are to the actual spot, the more points you get. It’s that simple—and that maddening.
